Dr. Khan was raised in Dallas, Texas (Go Cowboys!). Dr. Khan is double board-certified in Interventional pain management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is board certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). He received his doctorate of medicine (M.D.) from Texas Tech University where he received several awards.
At the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, he completed his Interventional Pain Management Fellowship in addition to serving as the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Administrative Chief Resident. He has previously served as the medical director of HealthCare Express pain management in Texarkana, Texas and Pinnacle pain center in Washington State.
He has most recently relocated back to DFW from Hot Springs, Arkansas where he worked at Advanced Interventional Pain Management. His special interests in medicine include minimally invasive interventional pain procedures as well as multimodal treatments for acute and chronic pain conditions. Dr. Khan is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and Spine Intervention Society. In his free time Dr. Khan enjoys golfing, being outdoors and spending time with two children and his wife Dr. Asma S. Khan who is a family medicine physician. Dr. Khan and his family are proud residents of Coppell, Texas.

Dr. Jay Patel is a compassionate, highly skilled physician who is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is dedicated to a patient-centered approach that prioritizes individualized care, open and thoughtful communication, and evidence-based procedural treatments when appropriate. He offers expertise in a wide range of therapies, including epidural and joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, and neuromodulation.
Dr. Patel’s passion for medicine was inspired by his grandfather’s experience with chronic illness—specifically a debilitating hip fracture that led to persistent pain and countless medical visits. Witnessing the positive impact of compassionate and capable physicians on his grandfather’s life solidified Dr. Patel’s calling to pursue medicine. Today, he strives to build that same meaningful connection with his own patients, working diligently to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Patel earned both his undergraduate degree and medical doctorate in St. Louis, graduating from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he contributed to multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and had several presentations at national conferences. He then completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, ranked the #2 hospital in the nation by U.S. News & World Report during his training.
Originally from Indianapolis, Dr. Patel is a lifelong sports fan and grew up watching his hometown heroes Peyton Manning and Reggie Miller. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the Dallas–Fort Worth area with his wife and discovering new restaurants around town.

Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified
Nuzhat Moinuddin, FNP-BC works closely with Dr. Mohammed Khan to improve quality of life for patients through pain management. Nuzhat originally attended University of Tennessee Knoxville where she received a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology and then moved to Michigan where she attended Oakland University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. While working at Beaumont Hospital, in their Medical Surgical Unit, she returned to Oakland University to complete her Masters of Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022. She moved to Dallas in 2022 with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys baking, traveling, and reading.
